Lonna's Moroccan blankets

Here is Lonna's beautiful watercolor of four blankets from her trip to Morocco. She's done a fantastic job of giving these beautiful objects even more color and life than they appear in her drive by photo. I like the interesting treatment of the wall as well. Lonna did a fantastic job here and her painting stands on it's own very well.

I've included not just her painting and her photo of the blankets but some other photos of street scenes she took as well. I thought that Lonna might consider setting the blankets in a street scene to give a feel of the marketplace. I did a quick pencil sketch of a possible composition to give the idea how one might use disparate elements together to create a painting.
