Marilyn's Purple Still Life.

I think this painting is done. I really like the animated, lively quality of this piece. The differences between the purples and reds are subtle but the close coloration makes us see the subtle distinctions which draws us into the painting. The space between the objects is as important as the objects/vegetables. The greens are a nice counter/support for the red/purples. I like the way you've engaged the top and bottom of the picture frame.

I might have over thought the color scheme and  used a ground plane/ background of a light greyish green. You didn't, and the light violet harmonizes and works really successfully. One of the things that I like about working with you and the other ladies is that you do things I might not think of and it works great and I learn from it.
