I'm not sure in this early stage what direction you intend to go but I did a quick take on a possible direction based on the brown wood color in the near sides of the table and the bench. The color isn't accurate but I've indicated a light direction with the darker underside and the shadows from the glasses, etc. based on the light on the green vase which I really like.
I've moved the bowl in the near edge of the table off the edge as it creates a tension I'm not sure is intended. The move places the bowl over the glass and unifies the objects a bit. I think that the light yellow glasses pop out against the darker tabletop. The darker leg shapes and shadow on the floor grounds the painting and makes what's to come in the upper left and additional things potentially on the table more important. I've gone with the placement of the leg under the table you've indicated, it would however be further back and further underneath the far corner.
You may have an entirely different direction in mind this is just a few ideas of what to keep in mind as you progress. It's a great start and I look forward to seeing where it goes.
